Yes, you can participate in 1 or more teams.
Does each team meet separately?

Yes- we have a bi-weekly meeting for the whole group but each individual team meets separately. Team #1 meets on Fridays at 3pm, Team #2 meets with their mentor at their own respective times, Team #3 meets on Mondays at 1pm, Team #4 meet with their mentors.

What other activities are the Junior Investigators invited to?
All participants are invited to our "virtual coffee" chats at 11-11:30AM every day. We also invite all students to our joint Digman Lab/LFD group meetings on Thursdays 3-4pm. Students are also sent announcements regarding other events on campus and abroad. To enhance the training we also invite students to participate in career enhancement opportunities including computational model with COPASI, Virtual Cell, iBiology self learning modules, and presenting in virtual society meetings.

Part of the scientific experience is being able to describe your work to others. We encourage all participants to give an informal talk at the group meeting.
