First weeks in Junior Infants

We have been very busy since we started school .....getting to know each other, our teachers and SNAs,  and learning about our wonderful school!

Morning Activites

Each morning, our day starts with hands-on activities designed to strengthen the muscles in our hands and our hand eye co-ordination in order to get ready for writing. We also explore our STEM station, where we build and design different creations! We love working with partners too—it’s a great way to practice teamwork while having lots of fun together. 

Maths 

In maths we are learning how to sort and compare, make sets and classify items. We are having lots of fun counting in different ways as well!

PE

On Wednesday we had our first PE lesson with Mr. Batten.

We've also been busy listening to lots of stories, making art, dancing and singing. Take a look at what else we have gotten up to.....
