I am Junghyun Moon, Ph.D. (The Media School at Indiana University Bloomington). 

My research focuses on deepening an understanding of public perceptions of media. My current research explores how public perceptions of media effects and media trustworthiness influence citizens' engagement with news media. 

As a media researcher from South Korea, where public trust in news media remains alarmingly low, I aspire to leverage my research expertise to develop strategies/interventions that mitigate distrust and foster a more informed and engaged citizenry in the contemporary media environment.
