• Certified Teacher in Elementary,  High School English, and Special Education. 

• Employed in a small district ( Madison School District) and the largest district in the state (Detroit Public Schools Community District)

• Serving traditionally marginalized communities such as Detroit and Eastpointe. 

•  Experience in curriculum design, training, and implementation. 

• Bachelor with a teaching certificate from Eastern Michigan University. 

• Masters in Special Education, Ed. Specialist in Educational Leadership and Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) focused on Educational Leadership, all from Oakland Unversity. 

I grew up in Rochester, attending University Hills, West Jr. High, and Rochester High School. 

My husband and I have raised three amazing kids that all attended Musson, Van Hoosen, and Rochester Adams High School.
