About me 

 My name is Julia Calabro, I am a current third grade teacher at St. Patrick's School in Bay Shore, New York. Last summer, I worked in a self-contained pre-kindergarten room at ICCD in Mineola and three years prior, I have worked in a general education pre-kindergarten classroom at Columbus Avenue Early Childhood Center in Freeport, NY. Last year was my first year as a lead teacher for pre-kindergarten. I was born and raised on Long Island and knew I had a calling to be a teacher from a very young age. For my undergraduate studies, I attended The State University of New York at Oneonta, and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood and Family Studies. I earned my Master of Arts in Infant and Toddler Early Childhood Special Education from St. Joseph's University in Patchogue. I have currently applied for my 1-6 extension in general education and my Students with Disabilities All Grades certification.
