Practical infos

The project will involve 5 young participants (aged 18–30) for each Country, plus 1 group leader for each national team (for a total of 37 people engaged in the mobility, including the staff).

Group leaders are expected to have prior experience in the youth sector, Erasmus+ projects and/or about the topics of the programme, in order to effectively support and guide their group throughout all phases of the project.

🫰The participation is 100% free for everyone: all costs are covered by the Erasmus+ programme.

Requirements for participants

• Be available for the full duration of the project and commit to taking part in all programme activities.

• Be residents of one of the following countries: Italy (priority will be given to residents in the province of Bergamo and the Lombardy region), Romania, Greece, Lithuania, Serbia, Bulgaria.

• Show a genuine interest in the theme of the project (no previous experience in juggling is required).

• Be able to communicate in English, even at a basic level.

Young people with fewer opportunities (as defined in the Erasmus+ Programme and specified in the application form) are strongly encouraged to apply. They will receive the necessary support from their respective sending organisations to ensure full participation and inclusion.

• Shampoo, gel, toothpaste, and other personal toiletries;

• Hairdryer (if you need it);

• Raincoat, since it could rain;

• Solar cream & sunglasses;

• Some warm clothes: even if it's September, remember we are at 1300 mt elevation;

• Comfortable shoes, too use outdoor in nature (they might get dirty); 

• A water bottle to keep with you during the activities;

• Flip-flops or sandals to use inside the venue;

• Local snacks from your country: we will share them during some intercultural breacks;

• European Health Card (EHIC) or private insurance (COMPULSORY);

• if you like to take pictures, bring your camera: there will be many chanches to use it;

• ... and your will to play, debate, and think critically.

Arrivals and meeting point

ALL participants are expected to arrive on the 20th of September and depart on the 27th of September.

If you wish, you are allowed to arrive in Bergamo one day before and/or depart one day after. The extra accomodation will not be covered from us, except in particular cases and for those who will chose the green travel option (see below).

📍The meeting point will be in BERGAMO CITY CENTRE (We’ll reach our venue in Mezzoldo village by private coach). 

IMPORTANT: Please arrange your travels in order to arrive in Bergamo on 20th September BEFORE 5 p.m. 🕔

👉 About RETURN: On the 26th we’ll move to Bergamo for a cultural visit during the afternoon and sleep the last night there in a different venue located in the City centre, so on the 27th you can chech-out in the morning and depart anytime you need.

EASY FLIGHT CONNECTIONS:

• Milan - Bergamo BGY (15 minutes by bus to the city center)

• Milan - Malpensa MPX (2h 30' to Bergamo)

• Milan - Linate LIN (2h to Bergamo)

Travel reimbursement

WE WILL REIMBURSE UP TO:

• 21€ to the residents in Italy (only using green travel *).

• 274€ to participants travelling with STANDARD TRAVEL (i.e. by plane) from Lithuania, Greece, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria.

• 382€ to participants travelling with GREEN TRAVEL *, from Lithuania, Serbia and Romania. Not applicable for residents in Greece and Bulgaria.

The cost of the transfer by charter bus from Bergamo to Mezzoldo and back, corresponding to 35€/pp, it's covered direclty by us and it's already detracted from the travel budgets listed above.

*GREEN TRAVEL OPTION:

• Definition of green travel: at least 50% of the whole trip made by train, bus or carpooling.

• To make the green travel option actually duable, we can reimburse you also the price for extra accommodation while travelling for two nights (1 arrival + 1 departure) up to €40 per night, WITHIN your total travel budget.

DISCLAIMER:

• It is mandatory that all the participants keep their boarding passes and travel purchase invoices.

• (BE CAREFUL!! Digital boarding passes might disappear after landing, so take a screenshot BEFORE taking off).

• All tickets must show the name of the passenger/participant on them.

• The only reimbursable travel expenses are: the lowest-fare flight ticket, second-class train tickets, and bus fares. For flights operated by low-cost airlines, the cost of one piece of hand luggage or one piece of checked baggage may be included; no reimbursement will be provided for any other kind of extra service.

• Costs associated with private car travel are not reimbursable, with the exception of tolls and fuel in cases of carpooling involving at least two participants traveling the same route (subject to verification via a declaration).

• In case of green travel and accommodation while travelling, the booking confirmation is not enough: we'll nedd an invoice issued by the hostel/venue, naming expressly the guest/participant.

• After the project, when we receive all the necessary documents for reimbursement (in its original digital or physical format) we will make the reimbursement through bank transfer.

• Do not buy any tickets before our approval!
