One Dublin is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local families who may not have access to essential resources like food or clothing. Through this organization, I connected with Heather Heins, a key figure in their outreach efforts. For my CAS project, I wanted to combine my passion for music with community service, so I founded Cadence Collective—a community-driven initiative that brings talented high school musicians together to perform in underprivileged spaces, such as nursing homes and free clothing shops. What began as a simple idea has grown into a committed group of performers who use music to uplift those facing hardship. While music can't solve systemic issues, it has the power to heal emotionally and spark hope. We recently hosted a performance at one of One Dublin’s free clothing shelters, and I’m now planning to expand our efforts by exploring public spaces or partnering with local businesses to host charity concerts.
