A Calaocan customs in which a young person bows and places the elder's hand on his or her forehead to welcome an older family member. In return, the elders usually bestow their blessing on the individual who has shown respect.

This event began in 1934, and the name “laok-laok” means “halo-halo”. It was held to recognize the variety of Calaocan citizens.
