HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
Sometimes in 1930's, people from different sectors, dialect and places migrated and occupied the Northern and Eastern portion of the barangay Patul, now called Sitio Talab, until finally and officially created into a separate barryo called "Calaocan", it has been chosen to be the barangay due to the concept that people being transferred and resided in the barangay were different dialect (LAOK-LAOK = CALAOCAN).

The Barangay Calaocan is more or less three kilometers from Centro/ Poblacion boundedd by the following barangays:

South: Barangay Rosario
East: Barangay Victory Sur
West: Barangay Baluarte
