The Psychology Major at the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities (JSLH), O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), blends the scientist-practitioner model with an interdisciplinary approach. Students gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills to analyze complex real-world phenomena through a psychological lens enriched by perspectives from the arts and sciences.
Our courses foster critical thinking, curiosity, and lifelong learning, emphasizing self-reflection and experiential pedagogy. Graduates are prepared for advanced studies, research, and careers at the intersection of psychology and related disciplines.

About Our Psychology Major:
The B.A. (Hons.) Liberal Arts and Humanities is a four-year degree programme offered by JSLH (Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities). It provides students the flexibility to explore their interests through foundation courses across diverse disciplines, including philosophy, economics, international relations, psychology, the arts, and more. One such course, Understanding Psychology: The Story of You (Introduction to Psychology), serves as a foundational course for all students in the programme.
Students who choose psychology as their major complete a structured set of psychology major courses alongside electives, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the field. They can also take psychology-related courses offered by other schools within the university, providing flexibility to tailor their education and foster expertise in their chosen fields.
In their fourth year, students can further specialize by choosing either a Research Pathway or a Coursework Pathway, allowing them to align their studies with their academic and professional goals.
