While the car was in the body shop for a year and a half I was busy stripping the '83 down and buying and collecting parts for upgrades. These included a set of 15x7 Binno B850 wheels with Dunlop D40 sport tires for $650, poly bushings, 25mm/19mm sway bars, lightened flywheel, 323i rear trailing arms, volvo 240 front calipers, and a 3.91 LSD.
