Behind the eyes of every creature there is a story. And Shakespeare’s famous line, “The eyes are a window to the soul," becomes even more insightful when we examine the natural world more closely. When we look deeply into the eyes of other living things, we begin to see the true spirit we all share.
The Story Behind the Eyes explores the amazing abilities of our non-human family members, from their incredible eyesight to their remarkable ways of communicating and cooperating with each other and with other species.
With this greater awareness, we become more in tune with the way nature works. Seeing the world as our home rather than a resource is a way to begin to change our thinking. We become more aware of how all living things are interconnected and interdependent. We become less destructive and more supportive, living in greater harmony with all the living things on our planet. Click here or on the cover to buy.
The ocean is in deep trouble. It is quickly reaching a tipping point, and the consequences for us are shocking. This is not some far off, decades away prediction of disaster. It’s been happening and is continuing at an accelerating pace, and affecting both the air we breathe and the food we eat.
But there are practical things each of us can do every day.
I am so concerned about this I've written a short, simple book about it. And I’d like you to have a copy. Save the Ocean, Save Ourselves, is available as a free download just click on the cover image.
A paperback version is also available for purchase online for a modest cost to offset the costs of printing and paper. Click here for paperback.
