Jathin Pranav Singaraju. Doodle 4 Google - "When I grow up I hope". 2019. Acrylic.
This Doodle 4 Google competition truly strengthened my connection between art and computer science.
When asked "what I hope for when I grow up," I represented a world of robots out of astonishment towards the flourishing world of technology.
The painting depicts me looking through a set of goggles and envisioning how I see the world in the future.
This colorful painting characterizes the Hindu God: Lord Ganesha, the remover of all obstacles.
This painting is my biggest acrylic painting; it stands at 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide.
This piece took me the longest time at over 8 months because of its complexity in color and detail.
It hangs in the center of my house as it brings vibrance and joy throughout.
Jathin Pranav Singaraju. Blissful Ganesha. 2018. Acrylic.
Jathin Pranav Singaraju. Sunset at the Beach. 2016. Acrylic.
This painting developed my skills by teaching me to use more than just the a plain paintbrush.
From using the painting knife to a wall-brush, I was able to employ a different style to this painting.
My goal in this painting was to capture the feel of being on the beach watching the sunset, all while experiencing the waves and ocean breeze.
Representing the colors of red, blue, and white, I chose to make this a patriotic painting.
With the red cardinal perched peacefully on a white fence, I wanted to show that the nation could live in peace as well.
In just the 4th grade, I had a vision of what I wanted the outcome of my artwork to represent.
Jathin Pranav Singaraju. Patriotic Red Cardinal. 2015. Acrylic.
Jathin Pranav Singaraju. Orange on Orange. 2014. Acrylic.
This was my first painting.
I called it Orange on Orange to symbolize the monarch butterfly resting on the orange flower.
This acrylic painting was the first of many in my artistic journey.
