# Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms (“Subscription Terms”) apply when you purchase a **subscription**, **free trial**, or **in-app products** (such as virtual credits) for **JoyClip AI** through Google Play or as otherwise offered in the app.
By subscribing, starting a trial, or buying in-app products, you agree to these Subscription Terms in addition to our [Terms of Service](terms-of-service.md) and [Privacy Policy](privacy-policy.md).
- For general use of the app, the **Terms of Service** apply.
- For how we handle personal data, the **Privacy Policy** applies.
- For **billing, renewals, credits, and refunds**, these Subscription Terms control if there is a conflict.

## 1. Subscriptions and Billing
### 1.1 Plans and Pricing
Subscription plans (weekly, monthly, yearly, or other periods) and prices are shown in the app and on **Google Play** at checkout. Taxes may apply depending on your region.
### 1.2 Free Trial
We may offer a free trial for eligible plans. Unless you cancel at least **24 hours** before the trial ends, the trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price displayed at signup. Trial eligibility and length may vary and are subject to change.
### 1.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions **renew automatically** at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date through **Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions**.
You authorize Google Play to charge your payment method for recurring fees and applicable taxes.
### 1.4 Cancellation
Canceling stops future renewals. You typically retain subscription benefits until the end of the current paid period.
**Important:** Uninstalling JoyClip AI does **not** cancel your subscription. You must cancel through Google Play.
### 1.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices where permitted. Google Play or the app will notify you when required. If you do not agree, cancel before the new price takes effect.
### 1.6 Refunds
Purchases made through Google Play are subject to **Google Play’s refund and cancellation policies**. We do not process refunds directly for Google Play transactions.

## 2. Virtual Credits
JoyClip AI uses virtual **Credits** to access certain AI video and related features.
### 2.1 Subscription Credits
Regardless of whether your subscription is billed weekly, monthly, or yearly, **Subscription Credits are granted on a weekly basis** according to your plan.
- Subscription Credits have **no cash value** and are **non-transferable**.
### 2.2 Add-on Credits (In-App Purchases)
You may purchase additional Credits separately through Google Play consumable products.
- Add-on Credits remain available until **used**, unless otherwise stated at purchase.
- Add-on Credits are non-refundable except where required by law or Google Play policy.
### 2.3 How Credits Are Used
There is **no fixed consumption order**. Subscription Credits and Add-on Credits are pooled and may be used interchangeably when you generate content or use credit-based features.
### 2.4 Changes to Credit Rules
We may adjust credit amounts, weekly grants, or feature costs. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through Google Play where required.

## 3. Acceptable Use (Paid Features)
You may not use subscriptions or Credits to:
- Violate laws or third-party rights
- Generate illegal, exploitative, hateful, or sexually explicit content
- Circumvent usage limits, abuse trials, or manipulate billing
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer subscriptions or Credits except as allowed by Google Play
We may suspend paid access without refund if you violate these rules or the Terms of Service.

## 4. User Content and Intellectual Property
### 4.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload or create, subject to third-party rights.
### 4.2 License for Service Delivery
You grant JoyClip AI a limited license to process your content **only** to provide the Service, enforce these terms, and comply with law—consistent with our Privacy Policy. We do **not** use your uploads to train general AI models for other users.
### 4.3 Our Property
Software, branding, and technology underlying JoyClip AI remain our property or that of our licensors. Purchasing a subscription or Credits does not grant ownership of our technology.
### 4.4 Enforcement
We may remove content or restrict features that violate applicable policies or law.

## 5. AI and Content Disclaimer
AI-generated videos and edits may be unexpected, imperfect, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for how you use and share outputs. JoyClip AI does not provide professional advice.

## 6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Paid features are provided **“as available.”** To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every expectation. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law.

## 7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, JoyClip AI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from subscriptions or Credits. Our total liability related to paid features is limited as set out in the [Terms of Service](terms-of-service.md) Section 12.
Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction are not affected.

## 8. Termination of Paid Access
We may suspend or revoke subscription or Credit access for violations, fraud, chargebacks, or legal requirements.

## 9. General Provisions
### 9.1 Governing Law
These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws of the **Hong Kong Special Administrative Region** (“Hong Kong”), consistent with the [Terms of Service](terms-of-service.md).
### 9.2 Dispute Resolution
Disputes relating to subscriptions or in-app purchases are subject to **Section 15** of the Terms of Service (informal resolution and the courts of Hong Kong).
### 9.3 Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
### 9.4 Entire Agreement (Subscriptions)
These Subscription Terms, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, form the complete agreement regarding paid features.
