    Joyce Yoo Babbitt is a lifelong aquatic athlete and a highly experienced aquatics instructor dedicated to the transformative power of water-based fitness. With a career spanning over 30 years in education and coaching, she currently offers private aquatic fitness sessions at the River Valley Club in New Hampshire, helping clients of all ages move with greater confidence and comfort. 


A Foundation of Competitive Excellence 

    Growing up in Southern California, Joyce developed her expertise through high-level competition. She swam with the world-renowned Mission Viejo Nadadores and later specialized in the artistic and technical demands of the Jasana Pacifica Synchronized Swim Team. Her professional journey began at the Long Beach Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool, where she served as a swim instructor, coach, and aquatic fitness leader while pursuing her college degrees. 

Specialized Expertise & Personal Philosophy

    As an AEA Certified Aquatic Fitness Professional, Joyce utilizes the "gold standard" of aquatic training to design safe and effective programs. She has a unique perspective on the water as a tool for sports injury recovery and long-term wellness. This passion is deeply personal: Joyce regularly trains with her 85-year-old mother, Wendy—a partnership that inspired her to specialize in one-on-one training for those seeking improved mobility and strength.
