The Joy Card Project’s mission is to brighten the lives of those who need it most, one card at a time. We strive to spread cheer and uplift spirits, helping to combat depression with a simple but heartfelt gesture—a handmade Joy Card.

At the Joy Card Project, our purpose is to bring volunteers and those in need of a little joy together through the creation of handmade cards. We believe that small acts of kindness, like sending a card filled with love and warmth, can make a big difference in someone’s day.

We recognize that many individuals, particularly seniors in nursing homes and senior living facilities, experience loneliness or depression. That’s why we give compassionate citizens the chance to make a real impact—by crafting a Joy Card that could brighten someone’s day and provide a sense

of connection.
