Terms and Conditions

§1 Upon acceptance of an article for publication in the Erofili Journal of Modern Greek Literature, the author (and, in the case of multiple authors, all authors) fully retains all economic and moral intellectual property rights to the work, in accordance with Greek Law 2121/1993 and applicable [private] international law.

§2 The author grants the journal a non-exclusive, non-transferable, irrevocable license, without temporal or geographical limitations, to use the article for all purposes related to the publication and dissemination of the journal’s content.
This license includes, indicatively but not exclusively, the following rights of the journal:

a) The right to publish the article in the journal in any printed or electronic form.

b) The right to upload, make available online, and archive the article on websites, repositories, databases, electronic platforms, and any other technical medium. In particular, within the framework of uploading the journal’s content to the repository of the Electronic Publishing System (ePub) of the Library and Information Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), the author consents to the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Policy as formulated by NKUA.

c) The right to distribute or promote the article for scientific, informational, or educational purposes, by any means (electronic or otherwise).

d) The right to carry out technical editing, formatting, and any necessary processing of the article exclusively for publication purposes.

e) The right to reproduce the article in whole or in part, on any tangible or intangible medium, for the purposes of dissemination and documentation of the publication.

f) The right to grant access to third-party libraries, academic repositories, or platforms (e.g. DOI providers, indexations), where deemed necessary.

§3 The article is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Under this license, any third party may use, reproduce, distribute, or adapt the work for any purpose, provided that clear attribution is given to the journal and to the original publication.

§4 Once an article has been accepted by Erofili Journal of Modern Greek Literature, the author may not publish it in any other scientific journal or edited volume. The author is permitted only to self-archive the article on personal or institutional websites, repositories, or platforms (such as Academia.edu or ResearchGate), provided that the Scientific Journal Erofili is clearly identified as the first and sole official place of publication. Such self-archiving does not constitute a separate or new publication.

§5 The author expressly warrants that:

a) The article is original and does not infringe any rights of third parties.

b) It has not been published elsewhere nor is it under review by another journal.

c) The author holds all necessary permits for any protected material used.

d) The journal is released from any liability arising from infringement of rights by the author.

§6 The granting of the license enters into force on the date of the official acceptance of the article and remains valid without any time limitation.
