In February 2021, at the Jospong Leadership Conference, the Jospong Academy was incepted and first made public. By March 2021, true to his word, the Executive Chairman gave GHS 3million to the Academy. A work plan and budget were thereafter put in place and approved by the COO. The Academy’s first training course began almost immediately on 10 March 2021, with a Basic IT Training programme for drivers of Zoomlion at the AISWAM Block where the Academy mainly operates from. The Jospong Academy represents the Jospong Group of Company’s Centre of Excellence in the area of Learning and Development (L&D).
The Academy stands for Professionalism, Transformation and Excellence.
The Jospong Academy partners with academic institutions to drive the Jospong Group’s employee capacity-building interventions.
Since 2016, the Learning and Development Unit which has metamorphosed into the Jospong Academy has partnered with four major institutions in Ghana and has also had dealings with Harvard University.
