I was the de facto chair of the inaugural EPI Improvement Group. Worked on tasks given to us by the CEO, these include scoping research proposals related to Covid-19, identifying ways to improve staff wellbeing working from home and completed an ethnicity research audit.

Nominated for the role after the former President quit. Organized transport to the Cross Country Championships, worked with other universities and local athletics clubs to organize the first University of Essex athletics Invitational.

Contacted potential speakers on behalf of the society. I helped organize events and worked with the University for booking rooms, and bringing in speakers. Worked closely with other political societies to do joint events and managed the social media account.

Created the campaign strategy, recruited individuals and organized them into shifts and delegated responsibilities for campaigning. Managed the campaign budget, administrator of the official Facebook page and managed Adrian’s personal Facebook page.

Organized charity events such as bake sales. Worked with local business to get sponsors for events. We had no coach, so I used my initiative and organized and lead athletics training sessions. We were shortlisted for Club of the Year.
