The 21st Century Classroom
The 21st century classroom focusses on adequately preparing our students for the challenges they will face. We aim to provide opportunities where students develop effective communication skills, higher order thinking skills, collaboration skills, while harnessing the capacity of technology to engage learners and amplify student learning. Whether through graphic design in Art, simulating an experiment in Science, or exploring Google Earth in Geography, students will have ample opportunities to infuse technology into their learning.
Commitment to an Inclusive Learning Environment
As an educator and parent, I am committed to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness in the classroom. I strive to construct learning environments that reflect the cultural membership in the class and incorporate culturally responsive teaching in all content areas to create meaningful learning experiences for my students and broaden their understanding of the world around them.
