Congratulations to Dr Álvarez-Quintero!

Nayade has successfully defended her Phd Thesis entitle "Efectos ambientales y parentales sobre el comportamiento y la estrategia vital en el pez espinoso".

Our new Project "ENCORAT" just started!

ENCORAT is a project co-funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund where we aim to reduce the incidental mortality of European shags (Phalacrocorax aristotelis) in gillnets in the North Atlantic Marine Fishing Area. We aim to develop an LED-based deterrent device that helps the shags to reduce their risk of bycatch and to carry out an extensive study on habitat use and dispersion patterns of this threatened species.
