Jordan Fletcher

Real Estate Professional

The Greater Toronto Area and surrounding communities are some of Canada’s most exciting — and challenging — real estate markets in Canada. It takes a high level of innovation and imagination to win over buyers, communities and planning boards with ideas to create new housing units, office buildings and commercial space.

Jordan Fletcher has managed to do that with projects in St. Catharines, Welland, Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake and Thorold, as well as London, Ontario.

Jordan works to improve cities and neighborhoods with innovative commercial, industrial, retail and residential development projects. As president of the real estate investment and development company Gorge Holdings Inc., he seeks out unique, diverse and profitable development opportunities.

Jordan Fletcher learned real estate from the ground up, having risen at Gorge Holdings from property manager to president in four years. Since becoming president of the St. Catharines-based company in 2010, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the business, buys and sells properties, develops new and existing locations, and works closely with a wide range of professionals, including consultants, lawyers and bankers. In the process, he has accumulated a balanced portfolio of residential, commercial, retail and industrial projects near the Toronto area and across southern Ontario.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Jordan Fletcher is known for his attention to detail, innovation, determination and insightful business sense in the complex southern Ontario real estate market. His time as a property manager during his first years at Gorge Holdings taught him the importance of mastering logistics, but also the value of taking a broad view of the market and potential opportunities. He is a rare combination of a big-picture thinker who scrutinizes every important detail of a project.

He strives to discover, manage and build development projects that will inspire. At the beginning of a project, Jordan applies his creative imagination, surveying the land, evaluating any existing structures, walking the neighborhood, and envisioning something spectacular rising from the site. Part of that is imagining the new community that will come together, the people who will be living or working in the buildings, and the families and businesses who will create lasting memories in these structures.

Jordan is bullish on the long-term prospects for property development in Toronto, the GTA and throughout southern Ontario. Despite short-term challenges in the market, he believes fundamental strengths will endure, simply because people want to live, work and raise a family in the communities of St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake, Thorold, London and Welland.

When he is not searching for new real estate opportunities, networking and working with colleagues, or adding value to properties, Jordan enjoys skiing, travel, fitness, design and architecture.
