1. Planning and executing field trials for rockmelon breeding programs.  

2. Managing the cultivation of experimental plants, including monitoring growth stages, ensuring appropriate agronomic practices, and collecting phenotypic data.  

3. Developing F3 seeds to create a diverse pool with desirable traits for further breeding and selection

4. Evaluation of Melon Segregating Populations through Morphometric and Trait-specific DNA Markers

5. Conducting DNA extraction, PCR, and marker-based genotyping to identify and select desirable traits in rockmelon and onion populations.  

6. Analysing genotypic data and correlating it with phenotypic performance to support marker-assisted selection.  

7. Genome-wide analysis of transcription factor genes in melon.  

8. Preparing scientific manuscripts and reports, highlighting key findings from molecular breeding projects, and handling the entire process of publication, including writing responses to reviewers’ comments.

1. Identified, categorized, and documented around 300 medicinal plants conserved at the Bangladesh Agricultural University Botanical Garden 

2. Reported more than 60 medicinal plants that were not evaluated before in Bangladesh

4. Phytochemical profiling of selected medicinal plants

5. Collaborated with other undergraduate and graduate students; helping them with their research planning, data analysis, and interpretation.
