Joliet Partners In Education is a joint program sponsored by the Joliet Chamber of Commerce and local school districts. For a business to become partners with a school, it must be willing to have a commitment for the entire school year. The relationship between partners is a two-way street. By forging links between these two parts of our community, students will be introduced to local businesses and industry representatives will have the chance to work closely with students. Ultimately, the goal is for the partnerships to produce long-lasting relationships and bonds that benefit the Joliet community for many years to come. The partnership may be renewed at the end of the year, however, a relationship which does not last for the entire school year is not considered a partnership. For example, a one-time presentation to a school or a single field trip is not a partnership.
