Volunteering Coordinator
Overview of role:
· To inspire, recruit and support people to volunteer their time, skills and energy to enable the delivery of our strategy.
· To ensure that the inter-relationship between the strategy themes is reinforced and brought to life.
· To support the development of existing and create new sustainable volunteering roles in response to local needs
· To foster a proactive, positive and engaging approach to volunteering encouraging initiative and welcoming innovation and change.
Command Support (Events)
Command Support Roles may include:
Working as a sector leader at an event
Operating a Radio or dispatching our resources
Making notes and updating logs
Supporting our medical managers
Working in a multi-agency control room
Community Coordinator
As a cycle responder you Our Community teams are key in ensuring we support the community:
Develop relationships - Building and enhancing relationships with organisations, individuals and schools
Innovation - Developing and delivering innovative solutions to support the community
Awareness - Increase awareness of the brand and associated topics
We are looking for a competent Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will mainly be responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers.
Area Coordinator

Innovation - Developing and delivering innovative solutions to support the community
Awareness - Increase awareness of the brand and associated topics
The role of the Area Coordinator is to lead, manage and support their team of Supervisors to build and support a vibrant network of volunteers across a geographical area.
Working with the Supervisors and Functions to ensure Units are effective, actively contributing to the delivery of XL Health vision and are providing a positive and rewarding volunteering experience.
The Area Coordinators role is a fulcrum in the organisational structure liaising between various functions, to achieve the right level of information and support.
Area coordinators will need to visit their Units frequently and work with Supervisors and their teams. Their role is to offer guidance and support to ensure all Units are providing a positive experience for their volunteers and young people and contributing to the impact of community health
