Community Responder
The role of the Community Responder is varied, from o provide life-saving emergency treatment to people in their own communities to supporting community projects - Homeless Service, Hospital Care Volunteering initiative, Night-Time Economy support, Falls Response project or similar
Disaster Relief (Emergency Volunteers)
We are looking for volunteers to join us in supporting people during emergencies and major incidents that occur in our communities. Such incidents can range from bomb alerts to major floods or fires.
Volunteers therefore play a crucial role in helping both the emergency services and supporting of local communities and vulnerable people. Our role in responding to such incidents is wide-ranging but includes providing shelter and humanitarian support for those displaced or otherwise directly affected. Trained volunteers are critical to effectively supporting people in these circumstances.
First Aid Responder
As a medical staff at events, you will help us to provide first aid to the public at events large and small within the community.
Due to contracts being nationwide ideal candidates must be a car driver with own vehicle and willing to travel ,as well as being flexible and able to work weekends
Community Health Responder
Our Community Health Responders work in the heart of our communities:
RESPOND - respond to the health needs of a community
CARE - care for citizens
PROMOTE - promote healthy lives
SUPPORT - support the vulnerable
EDUCATE - people in lifesaving skills
Our Community Health Responder role is varied and can include:
First Aid and Life saving Skills Sessions in the community and schools
Supporting Homelessness projects
Supporting our event services teams with welfare, lost children and lost property
Providing first aid
Providing health promotion
and much more

FULL TRAINING IS PROVIDED
Medical Support
This role plays a vital part in the team making our delivery possible. Ensuring the effective preparation and supply of equipment within the community. This role is vital to providing the best care to our patients and experience for our people.
Night Life Street Crew
Patrolling hotspots during nightlife, assisting people on getting home safely at the end of the night, offering vulnerable people a safe place, assisting with emergency services and overall promoting a positive environment. The training covers core valuable skills in communication and supporting people who have become vulnerable from drinking alcohol, and is broken down into three key elements:
Creating a positive environment
Identifying potentially negative situations
Supporting people who have become vulnerable
Note: This role is usually undertaken during unsociable hours - Weekend Evenings from 9pm onwards
Community Response Officer
This role will be responsible for delivering a specific frontline Community Response project in the Tyne and Wear area:

Day/Centre Support
Cycle Responder
As a cycle responder you will be trained to utilise a bicycle to provide first aid treatment to patients whilst at both large and small events
Community Coordinator
As a cycle responder you Our Community teams are key in ensuring we support the community:
Develop relationships - Building and enhancing relationships with organisations, individuals and schools
Innovation - Developing and delivering innovative solutions to support the community
Awareness - Increase awareness of the brand and associated topics
We are looking for a competent Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will mainly be responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers.
