This project we took a survey to find if we are addicted to social media, looked at statistics, and voiced our opinions on social medias impact.

Social media survey results

The survey said i am fairly reliant on social media. I disagree, I may use it a lot but i still find time to be productive and take care of real life things.

Interesting social media statistic

What I thought was very interesting was that youtube and facebook were the most used social media outlets. This surprised me because I never thought of youtube as social media and i thought facebook was dead.

Social media impact on society

I believe social media has negatively impacted society. Although you can easily message people and see news, people can still send hate messages and post fake things. For example people posting Ai videos. There is also the fake shopping links that scam people on instagram and tik tok. So in my opinion I think social media has negatively impacted society whether its been lowering peoples mental health, scamming the older vulnerable people or causing disagreements.

Lessons learned

I learned which social medias are used more then others. I also learned social media is used a lot by each and eveery person even if they dont notice it.
