This collection of essays provides insight into how my ideas about librarianship and more importantly, my values as a future librarian developed over the Foundations of Library and Information Science course. 

This project was a turning point for me. I was unsure about the path I wanted to take as a librarian, but the more I learned about archival work and what I needed to learn to be successful as an archivist through this project, the more my professional path took shape.
