I am passionate about helping people access their cultural knowledge. I believe that when we are connected to our past, we can navigate our future with greater clarity.

As a Native Hawaiian living in the diaspora, I rely very heavily on digital repositories such as Ulukau.org to access cultural knowledge. It is a privilege I do not take for granted.

Because I have benefited from access to digital libraries, I feel strongly about continuing the work of digital repository building for Native Hawaiians and other indigenous peoples, so that we can both reconnect, and feel connected no matter where we go.

Additionally, I would love the opportunity to respectfully work with archival materials to preserve and share them with the communities to which they belong.
