I have always adored comics and graphic novels, and it is a medium that I am very eager to further develop my skills in during university. I have experimented with scripted storylines, as well as improvising the plot with every subsequent panel; I find this to be a fun challenge because it forces you to constantly think on your feet and work with whatever story-beat you just created.Â
Directly below is an (incomplete) scripted comic I made when I was fifteen. It's pretty immature and vulgar but I'm still proud of what I produced for my age at the time and I believe it is a somewhat decent indicator of the type of writing and characterisation that amuses me within my own work. On top of that, though the art may not be perfect I am still proud of the standout character designs and the destinctions between one person and another:
