Animations / Digital Art

Below is a collection of my animated shorts. I first experimented with rotoscoping, as I love to capture human mannerisms and awkwardness within my work. I feel that incredibly human traits are perfectly complimented by surreal visuals, as the juxtaposition between the two creates a lot of humour. I have also challenged myself to animate using cutouts of my hand drawn work, and for my final college project I created a 2D animation in a more traditional style. (You can find additional storyboards for these pieces of work as well as extra content in the Planning / Storyboards section.)

I have mainly kept my digital artwork specific to animating, as I prefer to work physically when drawing. However, below you can see examples of my digital drawings, none of which I have taken too seriously while creating. (There is digital art that is much more refined in the Comics and Backgrounds sections.)
