Joe Boninger

I'm a visiting assistant professor in the Boston College math department. This is my fourth year at BC---during the previous three I was a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow, supervised by Joshua Greene. I study low-dimensional topology with a focus on knots and three-manifolds.

I completed my Ph.D. in 2022, advised by Ilya Kofman.  My dissertation can be found here.
