Sanapshots of Events during the visit of Revered Swami Kutasthananda Maharaj, Rakakrishna Math, Berisha, Kolkata to the Karimnagar City en route to Hyderabad from Huzurnagar during 15-16 July 2010
The Swamiji attended to a very hectic programme of five events in and around Karimnagar city during the two days. Three programmes were arranged in three colleges in (1.) Govt. Junior College (Sciences) Wing (2.) Jyothismati Institute of Technology and Science and (3.) SRM Degree and PG College. In all the three colleges, Ramakrishna Seva Samiti, Circuit House Road, Warangal arranged for the sales of the books of the R.K. Math & Mission publications by the presence of the vehicular bookstall (the R.K. Math, Hyderabad, generously supported the R.K. Seva Samiti, Warangal with vehicular bookstall). It was a blessing for the city youth to have interactions with a monk of the Ramakrishna Order. Rather than the youth going all the way to the R.K. Math, Hyderabad for such a kind of training, the Swamiji gave his gracious, simple and yet enlightening presence recalling the inspiring message of Swami Vivekananda to the youth and the nation and filling the youth and general public with the inspiration the works of Swami Vivekananda gives us. The focus of the visiting monk's message was on "Character-Building" and "How to Imbibe Self-Skills from the Inspiring Message of Swami Vivekananda?".
The Vivekananda Seva Samiti, Karimnagar led the activities in the educational institutions by sponsoring, arranging, and organizing as follows:
In Jyothismati ITS, the Swamiji presented a set of VCDs and DVDs (On Personality Development, Softskills, Human Excellence, Man-making, Life-building, Character-making Education, Inspiring Message of Swami Vivekananda and Earlier Youth Conventions) of the Ramakrishna Math as a token gesture of sponsorship from the Vivekananda Seva Samiti, Karimnagar for the benefit of the students of the college. Also, on the occasion, on the previous day, the Vivekananda Seva Samiti, Karimnagar presented to the college, as a token gesture of sponsorship, about 200 copies of the book "Swami Vivekananda, His Call to the Nation" (to disseminate the inspiring message of Swami Vivekananda to the Youth and the Nation) for the benefit of free distribution to the students of Jyotishmati ITS, Karimnagar.
On the momentous occasion of Swamiji's visit, the Vivekananda Seva Samiti, Karimnagar also sponsored for subscription of the Telugu magazine, "Ramakrishna Prabha" (a publication of the Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad), to the libraries of the three colleges in the Karimnagar city, viz., Govt. Junior College (Arts & Commerce), Govt. Junior College (Sciences wing) and SRR Degree and PG College.
Vivekananda Seva Samiti, Karimnagar sponsored and presented the copies of the two books entitled "Brain Building for Achievement" and "_______________" (at the instance of the Swamiji who got the reprints of the books from R.K.Math, Ootacamund) to the libraries of the Govt.
