Overview

With the development of society, more and more energy is required to sustain and improve the quality of life. In the last century, worldwide energy consumption has increased rapidly. Fossil fuels not only lack energy supply but also cause environmental issues and global warming after combustion. Finding alternative renewable energy has become an urgent issue. Our group has developed several promising approaches according to the generation of hydrogen-based photocatalytic and piezocatalytic effects. The disposal of water pollutants is a must-solved issue in the future. Our research has successfully decomposed dye pollutants under ultrasonic vibration without illumination and is an effective way of wastewater disposal.
