The students have the flexibility to choose what and when to work on the required activities as well as the optional ones. There are accountability pieces embedded for the student to check-in with their teacher along the process.
The playlists are tools designed to help students manage and track progress of the online activities that rely on adaptive software. These playlist are connected to student data and give the students the opportunity to improve and update current progress.

NE is an innovative instructional approach that integrates engineering and literacy. It enhances learning literacy through critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration in group projects. Students analyze literary texts as they identify problems the characters face, identify and draft a solution, engineer their plan and finally defend their work. The process includes the use of planning tools that drive students to develop a deeper understanding of the literary text.
Opportunities for the students to learn at their own rate, build content, ask questions and reach mastery prior to classroom instruction. This model helps the student master independently or build background knowledge before meeting with the teacher.
