Author's Book

         Jose (Joe) Morillo, who writes under the pen name, Adel Strong, was born in April 1965 in Lipata, Northern Samar, Philippines. He spent his formative years growing up on an 11-hectare coconut farm. In 1972, Jose and his family moved to Manila to pursue his education, where he later became an Evangelical pastor. Over more than three decades of ministry, he served in various churches within the Evangelical Methodist Church (IEMELIF) across Bulacan, Cavite, and the National Capital Region. Jose holds multiple seminary degrees in church ministry from Union Theological Seminary and has completed postgraduate studies in intercultural and religious education from the Presbyterian Church.         

         Additionally, he earned several academic and graduate degrees in secondary education, school administration from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa City, and pursued his study on development management at the University of the Philippines in Los Baños City, Laguna. As an ordained minister, Jose is a certified quality inspector and an IRCA-certified auditor with Edullence. He has authored several books, including the "Sunday Pulpit Series," "The Templates of Faith," "The Storms of Life," "Bank of English Grammar Exercises: Parts of Speech, Phrases, and Clause Patterns (ESL)," "Bank of Exercises: Verbal and Sentence Patterns (ESL)," "DIY QMS 9001: 2015 Documentation Process," "DIY QMS 900: 2015 Internal & External Audit," "Call Center Agent Enhancement Training Module," and "The Customer Service Representative Modules." 

        Jose has held various positions, including Director of Student Affairs and Secretary of the Board of Regents at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. He also served as a Senior Language Manager at CANU International. Currently, he is the resident pastor of the Living Water IEMELIF Church in Malacañang Village, Parañaque City, Philippines. In addition, he teaches senior high school students at Muntinlupa National High School and part-time college students at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. In his spare time, he enjoys writing books.
