The Academic Institution "Jagarlamudi Kuppuswamy Choudary College, Guntur and MaNaSu Foundation ,Bangalore signed a Memarandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday 30th December 2024. The signing of the MoU took place in the August presence of the Secretary and correspondent of agarlamudi Kuppuswamy Choudary College Sri Jagarlamudi Murali Mohan and the Chairman of MaNaSu Foundation Sri Mannam Venkata Rayudu.The Occasion was also witnessd by The Principal of JKC College Sri P.Gopi Chand and the Director (PG Courses) of JKC College Sri S.R.K.Prasad, and also the member Sri Para Ashok ,MaNaSu Foundation ,Bangalore.
The MoU aims is
1. To digitalize JKC College library books (Rare and Valuable books in telugu language).
2.To receive more than 80,000 telugu books and journals in digital format and provide them to JKC College staff,students ,research scholars and the society for developing research work in the field of Telugu language.
The library takes an active part in the orientation programme organized by the institute for the benefit of new students in the beginning of academic year. Power Point Presentation is given to all the students of First Year about the facilities and rules and regulations of the library. They are taken around the library to familiarize them with various resources and services available for them. Training sessions are also organized whenever a new product or service is introduced.

The Department of Library and Information Science creates JKCC Library Telegram Group for staff and students for providing free open e-resources (forwarded messages only) , career guidance information ,motivational videos , images and our college library information from the academic year 2021-2022.
1000 students are utilizing this facility for ever year.
Goal of the Practice : To motivate the students to make effective use of the library and it services,the Best Library User Award has been started from the academic year 2007-2008.
The Process : Library best user award is given on the basis of gathering data through following criteria i.e., Number of Library Visits, Books Borrowed, Timely Return, Code of Conduct and Semester End Exam Marks.The award is given in the form of book or Memento.

Goal of the Practice : To employ JKC College Students in the library the Earn -while-learn-programme has been started from the academic year 2010-2011.
The Process : The Library has some part time jobs for students to work in the library under Earn-while-learn-programme. Data entry work and books arrangement works are available in the library. Students can work their leisure time without any effect for their regular classes.
Impact of the Practice :
1. Students can get financial support to meet their expenditure during the studies in the college.
2.They are able to understand behind scene works of the library,which is not visible to the users.

On the Eve of S.R.Ranganthan's birth day celebrations (Father of Library Science ), the Department of library and information science starts "JKC Littile Free Library" .
It was inaugurated by Sri.Chukkapalli Ramesh Garu, Member of Executive body of J.K.C. College, Guntur on 12th August 2017.
The aim of the JKC littile free library is " Take a free book, enjoy reading and leave a book"
It is an open ,free and voluntary books exchange initiative launched by by JKC College Library.
The objective of the JKC littile free library is
a. to promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges in the college.
b. to develop the reading habit among the students.

Sri.Chukkapalli Ramesh Garu inaugurated JKC Little Free Library on 12-08-2017.
The library takes an active part in the orientation programme organized by the institute for the benefit of new students in the beginning of academic year. Library tour is one of the orientation programmes. Smt .Ch.N.Bhavani, Librarian conducted library tour on 12-11-2022 and 15-11-2022 for first year degree students to taken around the library to familiarize them with various resources and services available in the library. Individual Training programmes on access of e-resources are also conducted for the students for better usage of the library .
