Cosmetics Club

Over the years at SSS, students would comment on my makeup and ask for tips about products they didn't know how to use. As this continued to happen, I saw a need for students that I wanted to provide. With the help of a few founding members, the Cosmetics Club became a place where students who were artists with makeup, trying to learn something new, or needed a starting point came to gather and share their love of all things beauty.

Our slogan, "beYOUtiful," shared the goal of the club -- to have teens gain confidence in their own skin, cosmetics or not. Meetings were a place for students to compliment each other, help each other, and create a space of positivity.
