I worked on this investigative piece with Anoushka Swaminathan and Maximus Kwan. Using public records requests, aggregation of public data and multiple in-depth intervies, we contrusted this scrollytelling experience on the implementation of Flock Safety ALPRs in the county of San Mateo.
Politics at Carlmont isn’t just about opinions anymore—it’s a battleground where friendships get tested and food fights break out over MAGA hats. I wrote this article along with Ashlyn Wong following an argument we had on the legitimacy of cutting off a friend based on their political beliefs. We interviewed the Carlmont student body and explored the moral and social implications of political polarization.
