第1回スタディツアー
「日本の多文化共生を知る」

私たちJISS6期は4月13・14日に群馬県にて「日本における多文化共生について知る」というテーマの下、スタディツアーを行いました！！

国内の中でも多くの外国人の方々が在住している群馬県にて、多文化共生に向けてどのような施策がなされているのか知り、各々が留学先で発信できるようになることが本ツアーの目標でした。スケジュールは主に以下の通りです。

（13日）

・群馬大学荒牧キャンパスにて結城恵教授についてお話を伺う　

多文化共生推進士プロジェクトやグローカルハタラクラスぐんまなど群馬県の多文化共生に向けた様々な施策に取り組まれている結城教授にお話を伺いました。レクチャーに加え、メンバーそれぞれが知りたいことに対して一つ一つ丁寧に答えてくださり、一同大変有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。

（14日）

・日伯学園にて高野祥子さんにお話を伺う　

在日ブラジル人の子供たちへ教育を行っている「日伯学園」を運営している高野さんにお話を伺いました。外国人の子供たちが日本で教育を受ける際の弊害などについて、現場の実情を知る貴重な機会となりました。

・在日ビルマロヒンギャ協会会長アウン・ティンさんにお話を伺う　

ロヒンギャ問題の実情、そして日本と難民問題の関わりについてお話を伺いました。ロヒンギャ民族が置かれている深刻な状況を語るアウン・ティンさんの熱いお言葉には、メンバーそれぞれ感じるものがあったのではないでしょうか。また、お昼にはロヒンギャ料理のビリヤニとチキンカレーをご馳走していただきました！

群馬県外国人活躍推進課 小川隆文さん、

共愛学園前橋国際大学 西舘崇教授、

グローリーハイグレイス有限会社CEO　相京恵さん

にお話を伺う

官民学それぞれのセクターで、多文化共生に向けてご尽力なされている方々のお話を聞くことで、群馬県の実情や課題を多角的に理解することができました。また、前橋国際大学に通う在日外国人の大学生の方にもお越し頂き、ミクロな視点で日本に住む外国人の経験について考える場にもなりました。

総じて短期間であったものの、群馬に足を運んだからこそ得られた学びが多く、非常に実りあるツアーとなったのではないかと感じています！

また、ツアーを通してメンバー同士の親睦も深まり、今後の活動も非常に楽しみです！

尚、今回のスタディツアーでの学びについては、メンバーそれぞれがアウトプットをしていくのと同時に、一つの記事にまとめていきたいと考えています。記事が完成した際にはホームページにてご紹介する予定です。ぜひご覧ください！

Hi, everyone! We, JISS 6th, went on a two-day study tour in Gunma prefecture from April 13th to 14th.

The objective of this tour was to learn about multiculturalism in Japan. Gunma prefecture has a relatively large foreign population and we were interested in the kind of policies implemented there and the reality its residents face.

The following is a brief schedule of the tour.

(Day1)

- Visited Professor Yuki of Gunma University

Professor Yuki has worked on various projects about multiculturalism in Gunma. Not only did she share her experience and expertise but also took the time to answer all of our questions.

(Day2)

- Visited Ms. Takano of Nippaku Gakuen

Nippaku Gakuen is a school for Brazilian children living in Gunma. Ms. Takano, who runs the school, explained to us about the reality foreign students face when enrolling in Japanese schools and we learned that there are still many problems.

- Visited Mr. Aung Tin, the head of the Burmese Rohingya Association in Japan

Mr. Aung Tin explained to us about the ongoing persecution of the Rohingya people as well as that there are a lot Japan and Japanese young people can do for Rohingya and other refugees in the world. We were shocked by the utter atrocity of the crimes against the Rohingya and each of us reflected on what we could or should do. In addition, we were served delicious Rohingya cuisine, Biryani, for lunch!!

- Met Mr. Ogawa of the Gunma prefectural government, Professor Nishidate of Kyoai University and Ms. Aikyo, the CEO of Spectrum Inc.

Diversity of Gunma（NPO法人多文化共生ぐんま）, a non-profit organization working towards multiculturalism in Gunma, graciously invited these guests to give a talk to us. Learning about the various endeavors taken by different sectors helped us understand multiculturalism from a diverse perspective.

Despite it being a short trip, each of us were able to deepen our understanding of multiculturalism in Japan.

During the tour, we also got to know each other better and are now even more excited for the upcoming events!

Upon our arrival, we decided that we will each reflect on what he/she learned throughout the tour as well as write an article detailing the contents of this tour in both Japanese and English. Please check it out on our website when it is completed!
