The demo was quite demanding, as many mechanics still needed polishing and several bugs caused game-breaking interruptions that forced restarts. Throughout this process, I kept in close contact with the developer, who eventually provided me with a custom build that allowed me to skip earlier levels and resume testing from the point where the issues occurred.
This allowed me to continue exploring the game and test mechanics more thoroughly. I also experimented with unconventional strategies and edge-case scenarios to see how the game would react, identifying potential breakpoints and reporting them in detail.
His effort paid off - the game has since improved significantly and was selected for the Tokyo Sandbox Showcase (July 2024), a recognition proudly displayed on its official Steam page.
