Hi, I'm Jionathan Vernengo, a Narrative Designer focused on worldbuilding, interactive storytelling, and player-driven narrative systems.
I believe stories can be powerful engines of meaning, especially when they’re playable. Whether I’m designing a deck of Magic-style cards inspired by Cyberpunk 2077 or writing about how video games can teach us to tell better stories, I always aim to build experiences that are both personal and immersive.
One of my long-term goals is to collaborate with studios like CD Projekt, whose narrative vision has deeply shaped my creative sensibilities. But I'm equally passionate about working with anyone who values meaningful stories, no matter the scale.
I’m currently revising my upcoming book, which helps aspiring writers craft their own stories by learning from how video games build narrative structure and emotional impact. It’s not just about theory: it’s about making storytelling fun, accessible, and relevant for today’s creators.
While I don’t work directly in engines like Unity or Unreal, I specialize in designing narrative mechanics and lore architectures that integrate smoothly into game experiences. I’ve spent years studying how systems, characters, and player choice intertwine, and I love using that knowledge to bring worlds to life.
Let’s connect. Let’s build stories that matter.
