ABOUT


Jin Lee(South Korea,1993) is a performer and Choreographer based in Munich.  She began her first training at 18 in Dongduck Women’s University(KR) from 2012 until 2016, where she graduated with honors. Afterward, she continued exploring her movement vocabulary with numerous internetional teachers and choreographers in SEAD(AT) from 2017 to 2019. 

As a performer, she worked with among others,
Milla Koistinen, Ceren Oran, Anna Konjetzky, Georges Maikel, Django Bates, Jasmine Ellis, Pilgyun Jeong , Eulalia Ayguade Farro , Ingri Fiksdal, and Julyen Hamilton.

In 2022, Jin Lee co-founded ZINADA together with Jihun Choi. The performances of the ZINADA are based on the extreme sensitivity of the physical body, repetition, ritual, sounds, silence, movement, emotion, and pedestrian gestures. ZINADA's work is a constant search for the intersection between dance performance and different genres, the continual return to the creative space where interlocking bodies are constantly interpenetrate and inform each other, and the in depth exploration of the theme of performance. It enables individual dance performances and creates unique worlds that generate the language of movement. Furthermore, ZINADA are interested in developing intersectional performances for both young and adult audiences.

ZINADA's first production <HUABUN> had a great success in 2023 Munich and the second production <no.19 k.465> will be premier on 10-12th of January at HochX Theater & Live Art.
ZINADA is invited by explore dance session 24/25 to create a pop-up dance performance for young audience. <WUW> will have a school premiere in October 2024 and theater premiere in January 2025.
