Stefan Kurtz was looking for one last adventure before beginning his working career. Deciding to walk the Appalachian Trail, he diligently prepared throughout his senior year at university. The first night on the trail, however, became a nightmare when he was confronted, and attacked by the largest black wolf he had ever seen.
Waking up the next morning in Wolfs Creek hospital, he felt lucky to have survived. Over the next two days, things quickly grew confusing as a doctor, sheriff, a scientist, and a sultry, confident woman named Anna created more questions than answers. Then, an early morning mysterious visitor quickly disappeared from his room before he could wake fully, exacerbating his bewilderment.
Every explanation he was given seemed contradictory, and vague, raising Stefan’s frustration level enough to sneak out of the hospital. Determined to find the truth, he begins his search for the unknown visitor. In his quest, the puzzle pieces slowly start to align, and a terrible new reality comes into view, one that could cost him everything, including his own life.
