About the Author

I spent thirty-three years teaching High School Math and Physical Education. It was the perfect job for me because I loved interacting, challenging, and being challenged to become better, both in the classroom, and in the various sports settings I coached. There was no better thrill than seeing a student's eyes light up when they started to understand the concept I was trying to get across. Through those years, I coached football (both men's tackle, and women's flag), swimming, soccer, and the wrestling team.

I have always enjoyed watching science fiction, action, drama, and yes, even some romance movies. But it is the crafty ways writers, or directors, weave their story lines together, that really grabs my attention, especially if they can bring things into a climactic, and exciting, conclusion.

I first became interested in writing many years ago. Strangely, I was listening to my iPod and heard an artist who was having problems. Somehow, my mind started to extrapolate a story. Nearly a year later, my head was so full, I had to get it out. By nature, I love to build things, so when I first started, a colleague of mine (English Teacher) assisted me in the editing process. It was there, I learned how masterfully words could be put together; an ability I greatly admired. I was now hooked.

Since writing my first novel, I now have over twenty, two of which have been published. I am currently looking for representation for a third as this website is being posted. Stand by for, hopefully, some good news.
