I added short Stories, Photos, Slideshows and Videos to my website that I thought would interest and entertain family, friends and visitors to this site.
Most are Historical Images and Information.
To view all, click on the Links in the Menu-Bar above... I have placed my "About" page prior to my other links in the above menu-bar, so that you can get a feel of my past experiences before visiting my remaining links.
Below is a description of what each link contains.

My many previous career choices before settling into Aviation in ATC and Flying Charters, Instructing and Aerial-Photography.
The above Links contains stories while I was in aviation which I later found was an interest to others.
And now in retirement I took these many stories and wrote a book, refer to the Tower Tales link above.

my recently Published Book of factual, non-fiction short stories of my CPL Flying and ATC Controlling careers that I gathered over half a century.
Unfortunately I had many stories that I had to omit as the book was going to be to thick for shipping which would have exceeded the price of the book. At a later date I just might add the remainder of the stories and have the book reprinted.

The sample photos from the air that I have taken over the years. Be sure to click on the Museum's link to view more sample aerial images.
I did aerial photo for 14 years and progressed on to other interests.

Videos and stills on various subjects that I have taken over the years, then uploaded to Youtube for your entertainment.
With many photos remaining my plan is to continue uploading to my Youtube Channel.

Are old historical still photos of the Calgary and other Airports that I have indicated the name of the facilities and their companies.
Harvard aircraft were one of the primary military training aircraft during WW 2. They were used in Canada by the Royal Canadian Air Force, (RCAF). They were built in many different models, depending on the pilot training required at the time.
Now that they have entered civilian flying, they have been modified in the various areas that the pilot wishes to perform, such as racing or airshows.
A question I’m often asked is, “Why do you have a website?”
I purchased my first computer when they came available to the consumer, around the late 1990’s. I selected, and it was suggested, that I purchase an Apple MacBook. The reason, because locally I had many professional Mac users in my community for immediate assistance if and when I needed it.
Surfing the web I came across articles written by the professionals on who should have a website and why? A website was a good immediate way of getting your product information to a consumer.
And if you were a photographer it was highly suggested to have a website. A photographer could put samples of their photography to indicate the quality of their work, advise a future client on the type and style a photographer specializes in for future shoots, and display photos that are for sale and available for immediate shipping. With price lists with purchase and shipping information.
Now that I was recently retired, when I purchased my Mac I had time available to play on the computer as an indoor hobby during inclement weather and I couldn’t partake in my many outdoor sports, activities and hobbies.
These computers weren’t cheap. I figured after spending that high price I would use this computer to the fullest to get as much enjoyment out of it I could. Mac’s came with many free Programs and Apps, so I used them to the fullest. Programs I really enjoyed was Macs Photos, iMovie and iWeb App.
I had many hobbies throughout my life. One was Still and Video photography. After an early retirement I pursued doing photography as another career and specialized in “Aerial-Photography.” It wasn’t long before the business became a fourteen year career, before my final retirement.
Now in retirement I had over five thousand Negatives and Slide Film sitting in front of me. What better time to use Macs free iWeb program and with Telus (my Server) that also gave me free hosting, I thought that this would provide a lifetime of enjoyment and give me a purpose to use the computer and possibly sell a few photos.
It wasn’t long before Mac dropped iWeb. Google must have picked up on this because they came out with a free “Google Site” website for the general public. Shortly after Google improved it and renamed it “New Google Sites.” Thats when I looked it over and found it very user friendly for an old guy like me, so I reverted to and am now using and very pleased with my New Google Site website program.
Viewers to my website find it informative and entertaining looking at the photos and reading the history I added to each photo.
I update my iPhone every year or two to get the most updated quality camera then add a photo of the general area I live in to my website.
So as long as I can please others, it motivates me to add additional photos, video and information.
So hopefully this website brings you pleasure and if you have any questions or suggestions, my email is at the bottom of each page, so drop me a line.
Click on the links in the Menu Bar at the top of the page above.
Enjoy.
