One of my many careers was in Aerial-Photography.
I have donated over 5K thousand images to the Glenbow Museum in Calgary AB, Canada.
The University of Calgary, (UofC) now have 1400 of them displayed on their website.
These photo's and thousands more that I took were taken in the early to late 1980's and into the early 1990's. They are now historical and on display at the UofCalgary Glenbow Museum, Calgary AB.

The following photos .....below are just a few samples of the many thousands of aerials that I did over a 14 year period while in the Aerial Photo business that I donated and are available at the UofCalgary Glenbow. With every photo taken, one or more of the "Golden Rules of Photography" should be considered. These rules also apply to Aerial Photo as you will see in the photos below.
These photos below are just a sample of what are on the following Links.
The "Golden Rules of Photography" are applied to the following photos. ...

Petro Canada Building, Calgary AB
I shot Petro Can at various angles. These are only 3 that I selected for these Contact-Sheets. I shot the Norseman aircraft at these angles that interested me. The Atrium-Lobby is located ground floor between the two buildings. Norseman aircraft was rebuilt from scratch in emaculate flying condition with no fuel and only preserving engine oil.
Add fuel, change oil, get an AME inspection and it's ready to fly.
The above 5 photos is a helicopter landing on the roof of each of the two Petro-Can buildings rooftops. There was doubt if in the event of a building fire could the upper floors be evacuated by helicopter. This demonstration proved it could. I was in a second helicopter shooting the event on a quiet Sun. morning.

This completes the photos of all the Skysrapers in the City of Calgary's City Core during the 1980's years.
With every addition to the extension of a runway 16-34 length and an unrestricted view of the full runway, consideration was given to relocating the ATC Towers #1-2-3 then to #4. With the latest addition of a N - S parallel runway a site of an approximate equal distant from the ends of all runways was considered and Tower #5 was relocated and built in 2013.

Another Historical Venue.
Those who’ve lived in, or visited Calgary, have drank the mountain water provided by the City of Calgary. The source is from the Bow and Elbow rivers that join and flow through Calgary. Both rivers have separate Dams. Bearspaw Dam with a Water Treatment Plant is on the Bow River and Glenmore Dam with a Water Treatment Plant is on the Elbow River.
The photo contact-sheet below of both Dams, Pumphouse and Water Treatment Plant show the exterior and interior and the advanced technology of that time used to provide the cleanest of drinking water.
I took these photos in the 1980's, which are now historical. I understand the Bearspaw Water Treatment Plant has been relocated to a new building and the latest computer technology continues to ensure fresh clean water.
These photos and many more are available at the University of Calgary ...
