Good Day Coffee packaging

Using my first semester final project, I upgraded my Good Day Coffee packaging to stand out more on the shelf. I made a bracelet using hemp cord, wooden beads, and sea shells, with a length designed to wrap twice around the average wrist. I used Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.

squiggly guys pillow

Using a pattern I designed from a shape I created in my first semester, I applied it to a pillow. I inverted the pattern to create a hang tag. The tag is attached to the pillow using faux suede cord. I used Adobe Illustrator to design the pattern and tag.

squiggly guys lamp

Using a pattern I designed from a shape I created in my first semester, I applied it to a lamp shade. I inverted the pattern to create a hang tag. The tag is attached to the lamp using faux suede cord. The high-quality packaging is reusable and can be used for other purposes around the home. I used Adobe Illustrator to design the pattern and label.

Grounds for Good logo

Grounds for Good is a fictional company for which I developed an identity system. It is a custom coffee shop that has an easy-to-use app, quick delivery service, plus a composting program. The mission is to provide a great coffee experience while helping the community and planet. I developed my logo by combining shapes and fonts that best represented the company. Classmates helped me narrow the list of ideas down to the strongest marks. I used some of the creations in patterns to use for various items for the company. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

grounds for good coffee bags

I developed three variations of coffee bags. The variations are for the different roasts. The design is meant to be simple because it is used to not only carry fresh coffee grounds, but also to bring back used coffee grounds for the company’s composting program. The company’s mission is on the side and all additional information would be placed on the back. The bag is compostable and resealable. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

grounds for good shoes

I developed versatile shoes as part of the employee uniform. I chose to use a shoe that was comfortable, non-slip, and water resistant because employees will be working both in the coffee shop and in the garden. I used the company’s colors and used a simplified version of the logo. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

DF Logo Animation

For my Intro to Motion Design class, I developed a logo animation for my brother Daniel. I treated this assignment as if it were a freelance project for a client, consistently meeting with Daniel to discuss ideas, sketches, and drafts. The animation includes the logo being built, coming together as one unit, and then deconstructing. Music and sound effects are also used. I used Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Asthma infographic video

I created a video infographic summarizing facts and statistics about asthma with the intention of educating. I used Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.

personal Logo Animation

Using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, I animated my personal logo.

Fish Animation

In my Introduction to Motion Design class, the first project was to create a screensaver animation to learn the basics of Adobe After Effects.

billboard design

After selecting a company, I was assigned to create a billboard in Adobe Photoshop and place my design on an image of a real billboard.

website

Using Adobe Dreamweaver, I was assigned to create a working website. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the logo and layout. Click on the picture to watch a quick view of the website.

Photography book - vanitas

For the final portfolio project for my photography class, I was assigned to create a photo book containing a series of 25 photos. I chose to create vanitas, which are 17th century still-lifes that represent life, death, and change. I decided to make it fit more into the 21st century by taking high quality photos and staging photos using some subject matter that related more to today's world.
