Columbus College of Art and Design

This is an example of some of my work from Columbus College of Art and Design studying Advertising & Graphic Design.

Logo Animation

After doing brief research and taking note of the brand's characteristics, I created a logo animation for Dunkin' for my motion graphics class. I used Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

User Experience Project - Cinco Cosmetics

Cinco is a fictional cosmetic brand I developed that provides makeup products for the visually impaired as well as just makeup beginners. The first image highlights the features of the palette. The video ad briefly outlines the brand and product, and the app is basic, simple, and narrated (with the option to mute) so that anyone can comfortably use it. The logo resembles a hand, a flower, and the shape of an eye. I got the inspiration from this video.

Corporate cause campaign for Petsmart & meals on wheels

My "client" is PetSmart and I built a campaign that addresses elderly people’s challenges to feed their companion animals. The designs ask PetSmart customers to donate online and at the register to support Meals on Wheels and their efforts to feed the pets. The PetSmart customers who are most likely to support this campaign are dog or cat lovers who have aging parents. They spend a reasonable amount on their pets, communicate regularly with their parents and understand the challenges of getting older. My concept is called “Rumbling Bellies” which brings attention to the issue by focusing on the pet’s needs. If elderly pet owners cannot take care of their pets, not only does the pet suffer, the support they offer each other suffers as well. The campaign includes empty plates and food bowls with the headline “Don’t let bellies rumble.”

Awareness Campaign for Luna Gifts & botanicals

There are two main objectives for this project. The first is to spread awareness of the business and ultimately gain new customers. The second objective is to bring past customers back to the store.

I developed a video advertisement for Luna made to post on social media. It is engaging/entertaining, matches the brand’s personality, and appeals to both new and returning customers. I also developed a pair of pole banners to be displayed within the Oregon District, animated social media ads, and “talking” plants. The talking plants plants would sit in nearby shops and restaurants, specifically the nearby coffee shop, with paper speech bubbles talking directly to patrons to advertise Luna.
