Hi, I'm jillian.
Hi, I’m Jillian. I’m originally from Nashville, Tennessee, and I moved to Dayton, Ohio, in 2014. I am a Kettering Fairmont High School graduate within the Digital Design Career Tech program, class of 2018. I have recently completed my Associate's degree at Sinclair Community College studying Visual Communications in May of 2020. I have transferred to Columbus College of Art & Design to complete my Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. I am building a career in design as I continue to pursue education and develop my portfolio.

While in the Digital Design Career Tech program at Kettering Fairmont High School, I became an Adobe certified Associate in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I have experience in After Effects and Premiere Pro, and I'm continuing to learn as I complete more projects.
Experience
Sinclair marketing - new media creative
August 2019 - May 2020
I worked in Sinclair's marketing department as a New Media Creative student worker. I utilized my graphic design skills by helping develop content for the school, such as graphic art and videos. I worked closely with other students and staff with various skills to gain marketing experience. I have edited multiple videos, created flyers and posters, and developed a social media series for the school.

The Education Connection - Internship
March 2018 - July 2018
I worked closely with a team and met regularly to develop effective designs. I designed safety and anti-bullying posters that were featured in elementary, middle, and high schools across the Miami Valley.

Associate of Applied Science
Graduated May of 2020. I earned my Design Processes certificate spring of 2019 and my Digital Design certificate spring of 2020. I have consistently been on the Dean's list, maintaining an A/B average and 3.65 GPA.

Kettering Fairmont High School - digital design career tech program
Graduated May of 2018
I completed the Digital Design CTC program my junior and senior year. I gained skills, experience, and college credit to aid in my education and career journey. I participated in various clubs and was on the bowling team. I took honors/AP English and maintained a 3.5 GPA.
